Welcome to the ISSW 2024 workshops – Where theory and practice merge

For theory and practice to merge, and to stimulate the exchange of great ideas, experience, essential knowledge, and innovation, we need people to meet. Thanks to our fantastic workshop organizers there is a great menu of workshops to choose from at ISSW 2024.

Practical info

The dedicated workshop day is Saturday, 28 September 2024. Make sure to plan your travels accordingly.

Workshops will run between 8:30 – 16:00 at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Campus Breivika.

There will be a one-hour lunch break between 11:30 – 12:30.

Workshops will be at the Faculty of Health Sciences building MH1/MH2 (click for google maps link).

Please note that the workshop Calculation of Powder Snow Avalanches with RAMMS::EXTENDED will be held on Sunday, 22 September, between 13:00 – 17:00 at The Edge Hotel Tromsø.
